Is McDonald's going to start selling Krispy Kreme donuts? Here's what we know
McDonald's just got a little bit sweeter thanks to a partnership with Krispy Kreme.
According to USA TODAY, all McDonald's restaurants nationwide will offer doughnuts from Krispy Kreme by the end of 2026, but "phased market rollout" will begin later this year.
That means some Austin McDonald's spots could soon sell the tasty treats, which will come in these three flavors:
- Original glazed
- Chocolate iced with sprinkles
- Chocolate iced Kreme filled
According to USA TODAY, customers can purchase the doughnuts individually or in six-pack boxes, which Krispy Kreme will deliver to McDonald's each morning.

CosMc's, a McDonald's spinoff, opens in Texas
CosMc's is a retro, space-themed restaurant that a McDonald's release described as "a new small-format, beverage-led concept." The 80s and 90s McDonald's mascot, also named CosMc, helped inspire the theme.
As a beverage-led restaurant, CosMc's has everything from slushes to cold brew. Specific drinks include a berry hibiscus sour-ade, popping pear slush, s'mores cold brew, turmeric spiced latte and blueberry ginger boost.
