Game time set for Texas vs. North Carolina State in 2024 NCAA Women’s Tournament Elite 8

Texas head coach Vid Schaefer has his top-seeded Longhorns on the cusp of the Final Four. Texas plays North Carolina State in Sunday's Elite Eight round of the NCAA Women's Tournament.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Texas and North Carolina State basketball teams will be spending their Easter Sunday together.

The Elite Eight matchup between Texas and North Carolina State has been finalized on the Sunday schedule for the NCAA Women's Tournament. The Longhorns and Wolfpack will meet at the Moda Center at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday in a game that will be televised by ABC.

Texas (33-4) and North Carolina State (30-6) are the No. 1 and No. 3 seeds in the Portland 4 region of the bracket.

With a win, Texas will advance to its first Final Four since 2003. With a win, North Carolina State will advance to its first Final Four since 1998.

This will be the ninth all-time meeting between these two schools, and UT holds a 6-2 lead in the series. Texas and North Carolina State last met in 2019. In Friday's Sweet 16, the Longhorns beat No. 4 Gonzaga 69-47 and the Wolfpack beat No. 2 Stanford 77-67.
