Archbishop Carroll sets Texas Relays record in both the boys and girls 4x200

Archbishop Carroll owns the 4x200-meter relay at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.
The Washington, D.C. school set the meet record in the both the boys and girls 4x200 Friday afternoon during preliminaries at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The girls team of Jasmine Sharps, Naaema Solomon, Jasmine Cook and Simisola Balogun combined for a time of 1 minute, 37.87 seconds, shattering the previous record of 1:39.22 shared by Dallas Carter in 2017 and Huntington a year ago.
Roughly 20 minutes later, the Archbishop Carroll boys team of Jake Odey-Jordan, Dezmone Starks, Chase DeJesus and Damill Bostic teamed up to finish in 1:25.07, which was nearly half a second faster than the previous mark of 1:25.54 set by Bishop Dunne in 2019.
